This is for Phildo

Yeah that right, I am making this post all for Phildo… And anyone else that reads my blog. So Phildo left a comment saying he wanted a Cali update, so here ya go.
Ok lets see if I can make this update hold to the same format as most of my other ones (I giant jumbled mess of goodness).

Living - As of now Emily and I have a 2 bedroom apartment in Yucaipa. We are paying month to month right now so when we find either a house or a condo we can get into that as soon as possible. There is not much really to do in Yucaipa as its a smaller town, Redlands is only a few mins away.

Weather - What can I say its hot but not humid. I really cant complain about it what so ever. The other morning there was some heavy fog, but by early afternoon it was back to sunshine and 90 degrees.

Food - Del Taco, you guys that don’t live out here are missing out. My wallet is getting cluttered with Mexican restaurant business cards. Early last week I was able to get a really filling meal that consisted of 2 Steak Tacos, Beans, Rice, Large Drive, big bag of chips and some ok salsa for $6. And it was not from a fast food place, but the service was quick.

People - So far everyone that I have met has been really cool, well except for the lady that cut my hair. I think she might have done a lot of acid back in the day and well she was just weird and smelled of moth balls.

DMV - I have yet to really have a bad experience with them. All I hear are horror stories about having to wait for 4+ hours… I was in and out in about 1hr. I must say their written driving test was some what a pain in the ass. The Michigan one is usually like 12 questions such as “When the light is red should you stop or should you run up on the sidewalk and clip a few people then run the light?”, the one test out here was more like “One car leaves point A driving 24mph heading east, and at the same time another car leaves point B driving 35mph. What color is car A?” …So yeah it was hard.

That about does it for how its going right now, the job is ok… its paying the bills but I would still like to have a computer job instead. I also sit next to a window…. which opens :) but otherwise telemarketing stuff just isn’t as fun as it sounds heh. I keep trying to get Emily to move closer to Compton for me. Compton you ask? Well yeah that is were a lot of tech jobs are located at, such as Belkin, Pioneer, Panasonic, Kenwood… Rents cheap there I guess.
