Wordpress Upgrades and a Day in Court
Well today was my court date, had to get up at 6am so I could make the long haul over the mountains and into the desert… I am hoping it all went well, but I wont know until the Judge mails me the verdict. If it ends up being bad I think I might need to setup a voyeur site in hopes to make money… though I really doubt anyone would pay to see that.
On with the weekend, I think that after I do a little more reading into Wordpress 2.1 I will make the jump. I mainly have to double check that the plugins I use actually work with 2.1. From what I have read so far most of them will and the others that dont, well I dont use them much anyways. I do need to make a new theme for the site when I make the upgrade as this one is just not cutting it anymore. NewZen was pretty nice until every blogger decided to start running it. Lets just see how lazy I am this weekend, you will know come Monday.

I’m not in-the-know on the whole court thing, but regardless that sucks. Hope it goes well for you.
I found the 2.1 update to be a pretty easy transition. Just make sure you follow the guide which is fairly basic (backup db’s, shut-off plugins, update them if possible, install update, turn on plugins).

Yeah court I think went alright, wont have the verdict for probably a week or so. I dont imagine it being too difficult. Mainly just lazy on my part heh. I have been using wordpress since like version 1.0 or something so I know the upgrades usually go well.

Emily I was really going to put some thought into a response to your whole Meggan comment, but really its not worth my time. You and I had our days and court, now get on with your life. There is really no reason for you to come to my site, post comments or anything else. Shouldn’t you be out looking for a new job? You really need to stop being vindictive about the entire situation, I left with nothing but a car load of items and you kept the rest, now you want money on top of it. You clearly are not better than myself and Meggan as well. Have a nice life.

i just call it like i see it, i was looking for very eloquent speech when trying to think of how to describe someone who fucks their boyfriends friends, i must admit no google search was involved, no thesaurus to come up with the words, frankly, whore just has a nice ring to it, and since youre now dating the guy from the new geico commercials, everything just kind of fell into place

shelby i love you!! i hope everything works out for you, because you deserve it! and a nice girl. i didnt know emily too well but you & i have been friends for some time now & the whole situation reeks(sp?) of shadiness!! any girl who lures you out to cali & then leaves you for another man & with nothing is not a good person in my book. as i understand it from you, things were pretty boring & over with at the time all of this went down — but the way things were dealt with on her part were not adult like. i know you could give a shit less about the ex gf or who she is or isn’t dating, but the whole court/suing thing is crazy!! i hope you win & then COME HOME to hang out with all of us for permant!! hehe, xox.

Crystal the thought of you laughing out loud about the caveman comment made me laugh out loud wheee giant laugh fest. Anyways thanks for the love, but as I said before its a cold day (52 and Sunny) but that doesn’t make me want to move back to Michigan just yet. You need to come out and visit soon though damn it.
