     I successfully installed Red hat enterprise LInux 5 with custom partition but when i issue 
#cat /proc/mdstat   

its not showing raid configuration, how do i configure raid without data loss after the succesful OS installation ?</description>

		<description>Hi Raji, well You should be able to just install CentOS 5 and it will make use of it.  I know 4.5 detected the correct kernel modules and ran perfect.</description>
