📱 iPhone 14 Pro Max Upgrade

I recently upgraded to the new Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max from my iPhone 11 Pro max, which I have had since its release in 2019. While my iPhone 11 Pro Max was perfectly fine for most of my needs, now that the COVID restrictions are more or less removed, I wanted a better camera as that is what I mainly use my iPhone for.

I had held off on the previous updates since the lockdown didn’t allow for much travel, so a new, improved camera didn’t matter; that was until now. The upgrade to the iPhone 14 Pro Max allows for the new 48-megapixel camera to be used for some amazing-looking photos. though the point and shoot time for the processing is still not as fast as the standard 12-megapixel, I will likely use it sparingly.

I wasn’t sure how I would like the digital island on the new phone, granted it is just a marketing term/feature that Apple came up with to turn the original notch that everyone complained about into a new feature. I figured it would be pretty distracting, but after the first 20 minutes or so of using the phone, I don’t notice it much now, and the added notifications that it brings are an excellent use of space for the apps that support it now.
