I have been waiting to replace the rear bowtie on my truck for a few months now, but have had to wait for it to warm up a bit first. I had already replaced the one on my grill which was pretty easy since it only required a couple of screws to do so. Replacing the rear however took a little more work. While it wasn’t too difficult it involved using a blow dryer to heat up the old emblem so the glue would become sticky, then a bit of prying to pull it off. After that it just involved a bit of arm muscle and Goo-gone to remove the old adhesive. Overall the project only took around 30 minutes to complete and gives a bit of a different look to the truck after.
