Well for me it was nothing but work and then working on the new house, either packing, moving, or renovating.
The deck on the back of the house had some wear and tear over the years, mainly due to the trees moving/bending the deck. While it took more time than expected to tear up the deck and get it ready for the contractor to complete the bracing of it, I am very happy with the results.
Yesterday we took another load over to the new house and met up with a friend of ours who brought his fishing poles.
I took a break from unpacking and moving boxes to cast a few lines, and I caught two fish back to back. The first was only a couple of inches in length, so nothing to brag about. The second fish I caught was a pretty decent sized bass. This might be the biggest fish I have ever caught.
This is the first time I have looked around for homeowners’ insurance and well I can’t say it’s cheap. I have gotten quotes from 4 different companies so far and the prices and offerings/coverage are all over the place.
