Over the weekend Kat and I were looking for something to do besides hibernating on the couch watching movies. We decided to grab some lunch in downtown boulder, then check out the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. They ended up having an exhibit by Susan Wick titled Wild Women Never Get the Blues. I ended up only taking a few pictures of the exhibit but it should give you and idea of her works… most of which always seemed to have some hidden penis’ in them.Comments closed
While back home in Michigan for Thanksgiving we decided to kill sometime checking out the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum in East Lansing, Michigan. We were not too impressed with the current exhibit they had going on, but the building itself was pretty awesome and it was also a filming location for the new Batman movie staring Ben Affleck.Comments closed
Today Kat and I were exploring the
many bars and great food outlets great culture here in New Orleans. During the the morning/afternoon excursion Kat said that we should hit up the Aquarium or the Insectarium. The Insectarium or more so known directly as the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium really caught my attention so we ventured that way. Never have I been in such a badass place showcasing all these crazy bugs.
While Kat and I were touring around Pensacola during our recent visit to Florida for the Hangout Music Festival that takes place in Gulf Shores, Alabama each year, I saw that the Pensacola Museum of Art had a LEGO® exhibit.
When I was a kid (heck I still look at various LEGO® sets when I am at the store) I played with LEGOs® all the time, I used to spend all my allowance on them and eventually had a huge tub of various LEGO® parts at one point. With all that being said I knew I had to try to visit this installment if I had a chance as I wasn’t sure if I would get a chance to see it in the near future.Comments closed
