🦃 Lansing Turkey Trot 2024

I would say we ran the 2024 Lansing Turkey Trot again this year, but only Cole actually ran the whole thing. I tried to keep up with him at the start then lost site of him and continued on my fast walking instead.

I ended up running a little bit here and there, but sadly my stamina sucks when it comes to running, much like it always has; hence why I only did the 200 and high jump when I was in track.

It would be nice to be able to run this in its entirety next year; maybe with a year of practice, I can actually keep up with Cole next year or even beat him heh.

Even with not running much this year, I completed it in 39:23.7 with an average pace of 12:42… which is honestly not bad in my book considering all in all I maybe ran only a quarter mile of the entire thing. At least I know I can walk fast when I am old and retired. I think I will be welcomed with open arms by the seniors that do laps inside the Meridian Mall
